In researching practices in online forums that best encourage student engagement, I found that encouraging students to publish regularly on the web is a practice that inspires engagement that last could las after the course has ended. If we develop this habit, and practice this habit even after the course has ended, it is in one way of making learning more authentic and relevant because it becomes a part of our life and habits. When we as students and educators post to a blog, and then go on to develop this habit and return to the blog to post more reflections and thoughts later, is a skill for greater engagement, life-long learning, and greater possibilities of collaboration (
